NHS Ayrshire and Arran have revealed the Christmas opening times for local pharmacies.
GP practices will be closed for four days from Christmas Day until Monday 29 December. During this time, people can still get advice from their community pharmacist.
Wednesday 24 December: All pharmacies will open as normal, however the following will close early: J. Reekie, Cardow Cresecent, Irvine. Closes 5.30pm.
Boots, East Road, Irvine. Closes 5.30pm.
Townhead Pharmacy, Station Plaza, Kilwinning. Closes 5.30pm.
Thursday 25 December All pharmacies will be closed except: Boots, 9 Lower Vennel, Irvine. Open 12noon – 2pm.
LJ Wilson, 20 Main Street, Dreghorn. Open 2pm – 4pm.
Friday 26 December: All pharmacies will be closed except: Boots, 1 Fullarton Square, Irvine. Open 10am – 5pm.
Normal weekend opening hours will apply for all pharmacies on Saturday 27 December and Sunday 28 December.
If you need a doctor urgently and your GP’s surgery is closed, call NHS 24 on 111.
For emergency dental treatment, call NHS 24 on 111.
