A woman who committed fraud at an Irvine supermarket has been order to carry out unpaid work.
Nicola Fisk, 31, pretended to return goods that she had actually stolen at Tesco in Riverway Retail Park on December 8 last year.
Fisk admitted previously stealing the goods from a display and presented staff with a receipt relating to items purchased on an earlier occasion that she kept.
She asked the staff to issue her with a full refund thus obtaining money by fraud.
Fisk, of Misk Knowes, Stevenston, appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week and pled guilty.
She was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work over a period of three months.
