AN AYRSHIRE minority group is holding an extravaganza this week to celebrate International Women’s Day.
The Ayrshire Minority Ethnic Communities Association (AMECA) is holding the event at the Volunteer Rooms in Irvine High Street on Saturday, March 7 and begins at 10.30am.
The day will feature a fashion show, cultural dancing, arts and crafts, henna tattoos and will have plenty of multicultural food to enjoy along with cakes and sweets.
The celebration is free entry to all and will continue until 2.30pm.
So if you are looking for a fun and entertaining way to enjoy International Women’s Day, then come along and join AMECA.
