A MAN who admitted assaulting his partner has been jailed.
Steven Galloway, 27, attacked the woman in Irvine’s Kilsyth Walk on February 4.
He admitted seizing the woman and pulling her by the hair before repeatedly seizing her throat, struggling with her and seizing a telephone from her.
Galloway, of Hamilton Road, Rutherglen, appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week and pled guilty.
He was sentenced to 67 days in prison.
