AN IRVINE pervert who admitted taking pictures of women in the Rivergate Shopping Centre has dodged a prison sentence.
Kam Fok Wong, of Annick Court, committed the offence on March 25 within the mall.
Wong admitted taking pictures of the clothed buttocks of women in the shopping centre.
The 34-year-old appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week and pled guilty.
Presiding Sheriff Elizabeth McFaralane sentenced Wong to one year supervision and ordered him to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work.
The punishment was a direct alternative to a custodial sentence.
