AN IRVINE man who attacked a supermarket employee has been jailed.
Christopher Leishman, of Victoria House, Boyle Street, committed the offence while on bail, in Aldi, East Road, on April 15.
The 25-year-old admitted stealing a bottle of vodka from the shop before headbutting a male employee.
In addition, Leishman admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting and swearing.
He appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week and pled guilty.
He was sentenced to six months in prison.
