KILWINNING Flower Show will be held in the Abbey Church Hall on Thursday, August 27.
This year’s exhibits include cut flowers, pot plants, vegetables, preserves, baking, homecrafts, floral art and a children’s section.
The doors open to the public at 2pm with free admission for all. A tearoom serving tea, coffee and cakes will be open from 2pm. The Flower Show will be formally opened by this year’s guest of honour, Maryanne Groves, President of Kilwinning Rotary Club at 7.30pm with the presentation of prizes following on.
A spokesman for Kilwinning Flower Show said: “This show is widely recognised as the one of the best in Ayrshire and deserves your support. We appreciate that Marymass is the focus just now but we’re still here.”
