Kilwinning neighbours deny noise claims

A FAMILY from Kilwinning told the Times that they were stunned to be accused of driving a neighbour to suicide through noise.

Joiner George Sinclair, 38, accused of holding noisy late night parties, told us that his family was being hounded by a 'serial complainer'.

On one occassion he claimed that the neighbours, who came to the Times last week, had called the police - because of the noise he was making putting up a picture.

And another time he said that the neighbours complained about him, even though he was miles away in Stranraer.

George explained: "We were in Stranraer when the police were at the door. The noise was coming from a function at the bowling club that's right at the end of my garden."

He added that he felt like he was 'walking on eggshells'.
