Driver fails to spot unmarked police car

A BUS driver who crashed into an unmarked police car has narrowly avoided losing his license.

David Watson, 47, was driving a Stagecoach service on April 1 this year when he failed to spot the unmarked vehicle in Bridgend, Kilwinning.

Watson, from Sidney Street in Saltcoats, did not stop at the road"s junction with Fergushill Road and subsequently collided into the police vehicle.
