'Attacked by Fang' claim
Redburn man says he was set upon by neighbour's dog
A 62-YEAR-OLD Irvine man went to take his bin out - and was allegedly attacked by a barking German Shepherd called Fang.
Police say the Redburn man was forced to seek refuge between BINS to escape the growling Alsatian as it tried to bite him.
A police spokesman explained that the man, who lives in Irvine's Dickson Drive, was making his way through his neighbour's rear garden with his wheelie bin when he was confronted by the animal, which was bearing its teeth.
