Pete Waterman's Irvine Tracks

THE man who launched Kylie Minogue into stardom has is set to dazzle on a different type of track from his Irvine factory - with a model train.

Renowned pop manager Pete Waterman is best known for bringing us chart toppers Kylie and Jason Donovan and appearing on Pop Idol, as well as a recent stint on celebrity Masterchef.

But the showbizz svengali also has a lifelong love of model railways and owns his own company making miniture sets based right here in Irvine. We should be so lucky!

Now Pete"s model firm Just Like The Real Thing are scheduled to begin manufacturing an innovative new design from their premises in South Newmoor Industrial Estate.
