Business Park set to be new location for learners

PLANS are to be lodged for a new driving test centre in Irvine, it has been announced.

Central Ayrshire MP Brian Donohoe has revealed an application is being submitted to North Ayrshire Council for a site at the Riverside Business Park.

As the Times has previously reported, the DSA are in the midst of a national improvement programme and have been considering the Irvine site for a number of months.

They have deemed North Ayrshire's existing test centre in Saltcoats to be in desperate need of repair and are keen to move to a larger facility.
