KILWINNING reality TV star Mikey Hughes has launched his bid to become an MP - so he can CLEAN UP politics.
The Big Brother runner-up, 35, has put himself in the running for the seat left empty by the scandal-hit Speaker of the House of Commons.
And if the blind DJ gets selected for the job in GLasgow he has vowed to do some "straight talking" in Westminster.
He said: "I'll be calling for MPs to stay in state-owned accomodation instead of getting mortgages.
"And you can forget these career politicians like Brian Donohoe. You should only be allowed to get in for eight years."
