Irvine Royal man releases his latest work on Ayrshire

AN IRVINE Royal technical teacher has published his latest spellbinding novel.

Dane Love delves into the traditions, customs and legendary places and people from the local area's eventful past in his new offering, Legendary Ayrshire.

Mr Love, who has been researching and writing books in his spare time for the last 20 years, has uncovered a host of fascinating tales about ancient wells, standing stones and strange boulders, along the way.

The 44-year-old says he has was keen to compile the stories before they left the realms of remembrance.
