Meadow fans' fury at 'parasite' slur

IRVINE Meadow fans have happily dismissed comments by two national pundits slating their side's Scottish Cup dream.

Party poopers Des McKeown and John Hillcoat both got stuck into the Meadow Park side in their weekend columns, arguing Chris Strain's side are taking much needed funds away from the senior ranks.

But Meadow fans have laughed off the criticism, citing it is as nothing more than sour grapes.
