Man stole shirts for heroin
Irvine addict made off with Primark gear
AN IRVINE man stole polo shirts from Primark to help finance his heroin addiction.
Colin Morrison, from Kirkgate, nabbed a quantity of shirts from the Rivergate store when he was taking both heroin and its substitute methadone.
Irvine District Court heard Morrison, 42, was stopped on his way out of the shop on September 20 and found to be in possession of the stolen goods.
His defence lawyer told the court:"He required money for heroin and for a brief period saw stealing as the answer."
