AN engaged security guard was the only man out of eleven colleagues from Irvine's Tesco who scooped a cheerful lottery pay-out at the Euromillions prize draw this weekend.

Stewart Hamilton had just started his shift at the store when he found out he would be in for his share of £71,184 after putting on some lucky dips alongside the women from the customer services desk.

And the gobsmacked security man said his £6471 share would be going straight towards his wedding next year.

He said: "I'm quite chuffed. I came into work at one o'clock and wanted to go home at five past when I found out.

" I was very excited after that nut the money will go straight into a savings account so it can go towards paying for my wedding next September."
