'Please don't throw us out of our home'

ELDERLY residents of an Irvine care unit which has been readied for the axe have told the Times of the fury at the decision.

And one woman hit out after only hearing about the decsion to close Kiln Court when she read about it in the Times.

"I was in absolute shock," she told us this week.

"I am in Irvine and have been here all my life and I will not leave the town."
