'Punched doc' charge

A MAN has been accussed of punching a doctor in the face and atacking nurses and police at Crosshouse Hospital.

Martin McGinley, 37, allegedly attacked Dr Brian Hart last October, reportedly punching him in the face and injuring him.

He is also accused of targeting other members of staff including three nurses and a hospital supervisor.

McGinley, described as a patient at the hospital, made no plea at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
