An Irvine man who drove home drunk from the pub with two friends in tow has been dubbed 'stupid' and banned from the roads.
Ross McTaggart, of Gigha Lane, Broomlands, was diqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for one year after being caught driving at more than twice the legal drink drive limit.
McTaggart, who is married with three children, arranged to meet friends at a pub in Irvine on July 3.
