Three community centres in Irvine are taking part in a review to check they are getting the council value for money.
Vineburgh, Fullarton and Redburn and Vineburgh Community Associations will all be examined - with their cleaning and caretaking staff and the prices of their lets looked at.
Councillors were told about the Monitoring Reports on Monday, and were informed that one of the checks has meant cuts including the loss of a post and changes to staff hours and pay.
