A Kilwinning woman was arrested after being so drunk as to put the safety of children in her care at risk.
Gillian Gibson was charged with willfully ill-treating and neglecting two children in a manner likely to cause unnecessary suffering or injury to their health.
Police witnesses attended at Gibson's home at 11pm on April 28 after the domestic violence alarm within the house was triggered.
