An Irvine woman hit the road at three times the limit after a drunken argument with her mother.
Elizabeth Peden, 49, was reported by concerned motorists when she tried to drive from her home in Pavilion Gardens to Crosshouse after a boozy dinner party.
The married mother had been hosting the party for her family earlier in the evening and had consumed plenty of alcohol.
