SICK HOLLIGANS TARGET FOUR MARYMASS FLOATS

Pride at this year's wonderful Marymass parade turned to shame when volunteers discovered that several floats had been ransacked by cruel vandals overnight.

But the community-minded Carters proved the thugs couldn't win, by repairing a smashed-up float to get it ready to go on show in Largs days later.

Joyce Walker, a Carter's wife who helped put the float parade together, told the Times of her shock when she discovered the ruined floats at the old Volvo factory on Friday.
