A DREGHORN teen was overheard by neighbours smashing the window of an empty house and trying to break in.

But at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week, his lawyer said that Lee Bryden, 19, had stopped short of entering the property at Dundonald Road - and simply changed his mind and left.

Bryden, of Holmes Avenue in Dreghorn, was spotted by residents committing the offence on Wednesday, October 19.
