SEEING RED AFTER ROOF IS RANSACKED FOR THIRD TIME

CALLOUS vandals have destroyed the roof of a charity centre after trying to steal valuable lead - for the third time in six months.

The attempted theft, from the roof of the British Red Cross 'Operation for Independence' centre in Irvine, has caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage.

It is the third time thieves have targeted the centre - better known locally as Red Cross House - the second time was just two weeks ago.
