AN IRVINE train driver can't keep his anger bottled up any longer - after being left without running water 12 hours a day for six weeks.

Residents of Carrick Drive and Norman Crescent have been forced to endure weeks of 'scheduled interruptions' from Scottish Water, receiving letters at the start of each week informing them their water will be switched off between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday.

For the last two weeks, no work appears to have been done, but the water still gets shut off. Resident Kenny Barclay told the Times he and his neighbours are fed up with the treatment they're receiving.
