WORRIES COST HIKE COULD CRIPPLE SHOPS
SHOP owners in Irvine's Forum Centre fear they will have to close down after a shock charge hike is forced on them.
The independent retailers have been told they face a crippling £84 per week cost rise from July 20.
The small business owners say they move will threaten their livelihoods, which are already being rocked by the recession like everywhere else in the country.
Centre owners InShops have sent them a letter terming the huge hike a 'reduction in subsidies.'
