THE TOWN"S new path network was officially opened in March and marked a victory for Stewarton Woodlands Action Trust.
The group have been fighting to secure funding to start work on the paths and were delighted to see their hard work come to fruition.
Having already gained £40,000 in funding for the paths, they are now hoping their success will make it easier to secure future aid.
