The city’s ‘People Make Glasgow’ slogan definitely took on a whole new meaning after a rather disturbing video clip surfaced on Twitter on Tuesday.
Posted by Glasgow School of Art Student, known as Charlotte, a woman is seen giving CPR - to an unconscious pigeon.
It’s unclear which street the bizarre incident took place on, but the woman is seen standing outside a shop, breathing into the bird’s mouth and pressing its chest.
Sadly, the bird’s head flops to the side as the woman’s live-saving efforts seem to be in vain.

Charlotte has aptly captioned the tweet: “Meanwhile in Glasgow... #pigeonCPR.”
Although our thoughts are with the pigeon and its loved ones, some of the comments were far too much for us here at the Evening Times.

“It’s horrible but that floppy head floored me. She honestly stepped back like it was going to be an Easter resurrection - amazing,” wrote one Twitter user, while another said: “The head flop absolutely ended me.”
