CLARK Drivc Under-9s fielded three teams at the KSC Festival and had a great time, scoring some fine goals in perfect weather conditions.

THE Drive Under-11s managed to field two separate teams once again at Sunday's KSC Festival.

The squad comprised: Skye, Madison, Vanessa, Aimee, Millie, Abigail, Joss, Morgan, Amie, Caitlin, Chloe, Clara, Sophie, Shaunie and Tamzin.

Tamzin was making her debut, moving up from the Under-9s.

The girls all worked hard and scored some well-worked goals.

Aimee, Millie, Joss, Shaunie and Sophie were all on the scoresheet.

DRIVE Under-25s girls turned in a great performance on Sunday n a 5-5 draw at Greenock against Morton. They started well but found ourselves a goal down after 10 minutes when the Morton number 14 capitalised on a bit of indecision at the back and ran through to slip the ball past Mel. However the Irvine side battled and were rewarded with a couple of goals from Kari, who pounced on a shot which was spilled by the keeper and then forced home a great corner-kick with Dev setting up both goals.

Just when it looked as if we were going to stamp their authority on the match with Caitlin McMillan and Isla Burns dominating, they lost another two sloppy goals. Amy , Holly Erin and Rosy played well, starting a few our attacks and Erin and Dev stretched the Morton defence. Right on half- time Drive scored when Amy Isla and Catlin set up Kari to run through and score

In the second half young Isla Easton turned in a great performance, Drive again we went in front with another great goal when Kari finished nicely from the middle of the box, Megan Armstrong twice came close but with 10 minutes left tMorton scored atwo more goals. But theynever gave up on our passing game and in the last minute Isla Burns waltzed through the Morton defence to slip the ball past the Morton keeper.

The girls can be proud of their performance today from the first minute to the last we never stopped passing the ball.

Team: Mel Jones; Holly McConnell; Erin Kerr, Amy Cox, Rosy McMllan, Erin Porter, Isla Burns, Caitlin McMillan, Devon Cunningham, Megan Armstrong, Kari Stewart and Isla Easton

THE Drive Under-17s team lost 6-3 away to Hamilton Accies but the scoreline flattered Hamilton a little as this was an even and entertaining game.

The hosts went ahead but Drive equalised a when Niree Gaw picked up the ball on the left and found Caitlin Tomlinson who lobbed the keeper for a great finish,.

Clark Drive deservedly took the lead when Kaysha Watson found Kate Parker to slot home. The hosts made it 4-2 right on half time.

Drive pulled a goal back just after the break, Lidia Carbonel netting.

Accies increased their lead late on with a skilful finish from their striker. Lidia Carbonel had the final shot of the game but her effort went just over the bar.

.A Special mention goes to Amy Cox who stepped up from the 15s and again played very well.
