SCOTTISH Olympic swimmer Michael Jamieson made waves when he dropped in to a recent meeting of North Ayrshire Amateur Swimming Club.
Around 60 young swimmers aged from six to 18 attended the two- hour session which was held at Auchenharvie pool on December 27.
Michael spent time in the water with the swimmers demonstrating the techniques which won him a silver medal in the 200m breast-stroke event at the London 2012 Olympics.
His coach was also on hand to help the youngsters get the best out of the session. The event finished with a very useful question and answer session.
The swimming ace was then happy to sign t- shirts, photographs and float boards for the delighted youngsters who found the event both interesting and inspiring.
