JUBILANT striker Ben Lewis says Kilwinning Rangers fear no-one in the Scottish Junior Cup after blasting into the semi-finals in style

Lewis (25), in his sixth season at Abbey Park scored the opening goal in the impressive 4-1 win away to Camelon in the Scottish Junior Cup quarter-final replay.

He said: "It was a great performance, we dominated and took our chances well. We don't fear anyone in the competition and it would be great if we could get to the final."

Manager Chris Strain Jr was impressed with the display and said: "I thought the boys were sensational - they learned from their mistakes from last weekend and that's the sign of the intelligence of the team. We changed our formation and it worked really well. We stepped up to the plate, bossed the game from start to finish and our work rate was immense."

Now Lewis and Strain are fully focused on the league campaign as Greenock visit Abbey Park on Saturday.

Strain said: "It's a massive match at and with us being in cup action we don't want to fall too far behind the teams above us, We are on a high after the cup but we have to be well prepared for the game and aim to take three points,"

Irvine Vics boss Stevie Wilson is relishing a break on Saturday following his team's Ayrshire Weekly Press Cup win at Kello Rovers.

He said: "We are well placed with one defeat in 16 league games and this will give players time to recover from knocks. I was pleased with our performance on Saturday,"
