CLARK Drive Girls U9s were down at Caledonian on Sunday for the Fun Fours.

Coaches Stuart and Ian, were super pleased by the skill and efforts of the team with goals once again coming from nearly every girl.

Special mentions for Erin Mathieson and Ava McCabe who were excellent and were rewarded with a couple of goals each.

It was also great to see Olivia Surgenor make her Drive debut and finish with a double.

Thanks to parents who support the girls.

SUNDAY'S visitors for the Drive U11 Blues were Bonnyton and Cambusdoon Girls from Ayr who were fantastic opponents in a great set of round robin games.

The players are getting better and better and proved that with two convincing victories against tough opponents. They played particularly well in the first game against Bonnyton.

There was great team work to create lots of goals from Stacy, Ellie, Emily, Katie, Sophie and Iona.

It was nice to see Iona back after injuring her ankle.

Thanks to Charlotte, Stacy and Monica for taking shots in nets and Emily from the Whites for helping out at short notice.

Blues Squad: Charlotte, Erin, Katie, Ellie, Sophie, Iona, Stacy, Emily, Monica and Beth.

DRIVE 13s Whites took on Ayr United 13 at Marress and turned in a gutsy performance against Ayr United 13s at Marress.

Down 2-0 after just 10 minutes it looked ominous but credit to Sophie Corbett and her squad, who rolled up their sleeves and produced a great comeback. Scorers were Caitlin, Morgan and Becca.

They never stopped trying to go forward with Emily, Jodie and Aimee Morrison giving great backbone and Sophie, Lori and Caitlin providing the energy. Chloe, Becca, Morgan and Clara supplied forward power.

A special mention to Clara and Morgan who both took turns in goals for the team, well done and a big thanks. The only downside was an injury to Aimee Morrison who broke the bone at the base of her thumb after a challenge for the ball. The club wish her a speedy recovery.

DRIVE 13s Blues hosted Erskine in the league at Marress on Wednesday.

The girls scored some wonderfully well-worked goals. They even netted from a corner and Abigail converted a free-kick from the halfway line.

Blues would like to wish Erskine the best of luck for the rest of the season. Their goalkeeper made some fantastic saves.

The smaller than normal squad tonight was: Lara, Aimee, Abigail, Amie, Abbey, Stephanie, Josslyn and Vanessa.

Goalscorers were: Josslyn (3), Stephanie (3), Abigail (2), Amie (2) and Abbey (1).
