FIRED-up fighter Ryan Brawley is confident he can continue his comeback with another victory after recovering from injury.

The 31-year-old takes on Londoner Jordan Grannum in a boxing show organised by the St Andrew's Sporting Club at the Radisson Blue Hotel in Glasgow on Friday night.

This comes three months after the welterweight had to pull out of a scheduled title fight with Craig Kelly after suffering cracked ribs.

He made his boxing return after a five-year break when he defeated Casey Blair on points at the Radisson in November and looks to have lost none of his sharpness.

Brawley, most famous for winning the acclaimed Sky Sports Prizefighter event in 2009 has won 17 of his 18 fights in an impressive career. His only defeat came in a Celtic Title fight in Glasgow back in 2011.

But he is up against a 25-year-old opponent, who is progressing well, having won his first two fights and is nicknamed The Brown Eagle.

He said: "Jordan has done well in his first two fights and this will be a test. My ultimate aim is to have another crack at a title.

"But I have to full focus on this fight and really can't look beyond it. I feel in good shape and training is going well. I have recovered from my injury and am looking forward to the show. I am confident I can win."

Also set to be in action is former British and Commonwealth lightwelterweight champion Willie Limond, who has been tipped for a future showdown with Brawley.
