A GROUP of 20 pupils from three Kilwinning primary schools developed their football skills and learned about healthy eating at the same time through a special venture,
Some 10 St Winning's PS pupils and five apiece from Pennyburn and Blacklands took part in Foo Tea at Kilwinning Sports Club.
During a 12-week block which concluded last Friday, they enjoyed 10 minutes of classroom input on the importance of healthy eating, an hour of football coaching and a hot meal, which was provided by charity Centre Stage.
On Friday the participants each received a certificate and medal.
