Winners of the men’s fours at the Bowls Scotland national finals was the rink from Irvine Park Bowling Club, beating Huntley in the final on Saturday by 20 shots to 7.
The team was: lead James Boyce, second Graham Gunion, third Calum Williamson and skip Martin Williamson.
Former Irvine Park bowler Kevin Boyd, now living in Edinburgh and playing for Parkside Bowling Club in the capital won the triples with his team beating Cowdenbeath 15 - 8
Another fantastic achievement was 17-year-old Blair Davidson, of Blacklands and District Bowling Club in Kilwinning, narrowly missing out on the gents singles final after losing to Billy Mellors of Haddington 21 - 17 in the semi-final.
