REVITALISED Irvine boxer Ryan Brawley is gearing up for a rearranged clash with former Commonwealth champion Willie Limond
The fight was scheduled for the Paisley Lagoon Centre in September, but Brawley pulled out just before out after suffering cracked ribs.
Now the two boxers are set to fight at the same venue on March 3 next year.
Former Prizefighter champion Brawley has an impressive record of 18 wins and one defeat.
He said: "It's good news that the fight is back on and as I said it before it will be one of the biggest of my career. It's great that Willie has taken the fight against me again as there were rumours that he might be retiring."
The southpaw is confident but admits he will have to put in some hard work.
He said: "I will be doing some running and will be back in the gym sparring. I feel in good shape and am confident I can win.
"But I know it will be tough because Willie is so experienced and has had a lot of success but I look forward to it and will be working hard in the run-up to March on my fitness. Hopefully people from Irvine will come out in good numbers to support me."
