A DREAM fight night which would have seen Irvine boxers Ryan Collins and Ryan Brawley fight on the same bill has been cancelled.
Collins was scheduled to fight Ahmed Ibrahim for the Scottish Lightweight title and Brawley was set to square up to former Commonwealth champion Willie Limond at the lagoon Centre in Paisley on March 3.
However the Times understand a number of fighters, including Limond have pulled out, forcing organisers to pull the plug on the show.
A disconsolate Collins said: "I'm extremely gutted to announce the Show has been cancelled due to a couple of other main fighters on the bill pulling out with different reasons, leaving the show not being able to run with enough fight to put on the card."
Collins hopes his fight will now be staged at the St Andrew's Sporting Club in Glasgow on Thursday, April 19, for hopefully both the Scottish and Celtic titles.
