New Coin Holdings West of Scotland Third Round
IRVINE MEADOW 0
HURLFORD UNITED 4
UNDERSTRENGTH Meadow went down to the Scottish Junior Cup finalists in a game which saw them go down to 10 men.
The visitors were awarded a soft penalty in 10 minutes when assistant boss Stevie Aitchison was adjudged to have fouled an opponent inside the box although there looked to be nothing in it. Former Ayr and Killie striker Mark Roberts netted from the spot to put 'Ford in front.
Ten minutes later Meadow were reduced to 10 men when Ryan Carnwath kicked out at an opponent.
The visitors then scored three more unanswered goals as they coasted to victory.
But this game was not a priority for Meadow, who are focused on the promotion race.
IRVINE MEADOW: Gordon; Madden, Mackay, Aitchison, Miller, McGinty, McFadyen, Carnwath, Gemmell, Boyle, Black. Sub: Carson.
