Irvine Park started really well against springside after five ends.
Park were up in all rinks after 10 ends park still up in all rinks going down the last park were up in five rinks, looking at a score of 8-0 but Jim McPhail pulled off a magnificent five shots to cut the deficit to seven shots also.
A Hunter took an excellent two shots to lose by just eight shots to stop Irvine Park from getting their bonus points from both rinks.
Dreghorn 7(131) Towerlands 0(80)
DREGHORN started the game on the front foot and after 4 ends across the board they were leading in four and drawing two rinks with a score of 31-17.
And things didn't get any better for the Towerlands boys for at the half way mark Dreghorn had stretched their lead as they were winning in 5 rinks and overall 83-50. The 'Horn pushed on and ended up with a comfortable victory by winning the games 131-80 to take all three points and added four bonus points by winning four out of six rinks by 10 shots or more with J McEwan and J Mcharg claiming their bonus on the last end, Towerlands did manage to come away with one winning rink skipped by D.Wilson jnr.
Irvine Winton 4(101) Girdle Toll 0(80)
THE winton's season finally took a turn for the good with victory at home to the Girdle.
However, they didn't get it all their own way they had to dig deep to scrape this victory as home advantage helped them over the line by 10 shots and one rink helping themselves to a bonus point against a fighting Girdle team.

The gents league will return to action on the July 13 with the following fixtures: Girdle Toll v Blacklands, Springside v Dreghornm Towerlands v Irvine Winton.
