VETERAN Kilwinning Rangers midfielder Ben Lewis is counting down the days to his hotly anticipated testimonial.

Buffs take on a Kilmarnock Select in what will be their first pre-season game at Abbey Park on Sunday, with a 2pm kick-off.

The hometown boy said: "Buzzing for my Buffs testimonial on Sunday against a Kilmarnock FC and have only been able to ask a few of my old team mates to play. It''s a hard game for the first pre season friendly as well. It's been a great 10 years so far and long may it continue."

Among the players lining up alongside Ben are Ian Cashmore, Chris McGowan, Ricky Hanvey and Darren McMahon.

Organisers are hoping for a good turnout as they honour a loyal servant to the club.
