Irvine star determined to keep unbeaten record
IRVINE boxing ace Ryan Brawley is targeting title glory in 2010 - after the most successful year of his flourishing career so far.
The 23-year-old fighter says he could not have wished for a better 2009 in the ring as he extended his unbeaten record to 14 fights and came to national prominence with dramatic Prizefighter glory live on Sky Sports.
Last week the talented southpaw overcame experienced opposition in Birmingham's Jason Nesbitt to maintain his winning streak and after taking a few days to soak up the victory proclaimed next year will be HIS year.
He told the Times: "It's been a great year and it probably couldn't have gone any better for me.
"But I think 2010 will be an even better year. I thrive on not getting beat and the longer it continues the more other fighters are going to want to end my run."
