Clark Drive Girls FC action

U13s Blues v East Kilbride Girls FC.

DRIVE Girls U13s Blues produced a great team display in the Central Performance League against a stuffy EKGFC.

After a slow start, which saw them lose two sloppy goals, they bounced backed quickly and totally dominated a really good EK team in the second half to win 4-3.

There were great performances all over the park and the girls should be proud of themselves as they now look forward to this weekend's local derby against Bonnyton.

Team: Shaunie; Millie, Abigail, Aimie M, Sophie C, Becca, Jossyln, Amie C, Stephanie and Abbey.

Again a big thanks to all parents for their continued support.

Hamilton v U13s Whites

THE U13s Whites travelled to Hamilton on Saturday to play at the Jock Stein Sports Centre and unfortunately the girls came away with a defeat.

Drive had trouble with the pace of the Astro surface and struggled to play their usual game, but worked hard and gave tremendous effort in the lir performance which was great to see despite the defeat.

They could take plenty of positives from the game but also a lot to work on and learn from. They plan to work hard in training this week.

U9s Fun Fours

THE U9s were at Caledonian FC in Prestwick on Sunday, taking part in the Fun Fours. Both coaches, Stuart and Ian, were once again pleased by the skill and efforts of the team.

A special mention must go every one of the girls who were fantastic, as they are every week.

The team work and passing was there to see today and was rounded off with some superb goals.

A massive thanks once again to the parents who turn up in great numbers every week to support the girls and give them great encouragement.
