KILMARNOCK 0

KILLIE boss Steve Clarke remains unbeaten on the road after his side claimed a post against a Dundee team who had lost fivc straight games.

However the visitors spurned two late chances which could have secured them victory.

Clarke felt his side should have won the game and said: afterwards: "We had a couple of big chances at the end. Lee Erwin was through one-on-one with the goalkeeper and you'd expect him to score, though it was a good save from the keeper, Then young Eamonn Brophy hit the bar with a good header, so we could have nicked it in the end, but it was a hard-earned point away from home. We didn't concede too many chances, and the chances Dundee had, we could probably feel a little hard done by that we're not going home with three points."

He added: "The challenge is now to get a win on Sunday against Aberdeen."

Early on Dundee looked strong and Paul McGowan dispossessed Alan Power 30 yards out and tried to find Marcus Haber but his pass rolled beyond the striker.

A great opportunity came Killie's way when Jordan Jones broke clear from former Killie man Mark O'Hara but Darren O'Dea pinched the ball off the striker's toe.

Then Jones dodged a challenge from O'Dea before firing wildly over the bar. At the other end late in the first half, Roarie Deacon crossed to Haber, whose header ws well savred by Jamie MacDonald.

Just after the break a Rory McKenzie effort crept just over the bar. Then at the death Lee Erwin shot straight at Elliot Parish when left one-on-one with the goalie. O'Dea was then sent off for a second booking and a Brophy header cannoned off the crossbar.
