CELTIC and Scotland goalkeeper Megan Cunningham was guest of honour at Irvine Sports Club on Friday night as Clark Drive Girls FC rounded off a successful season in style.

The team, who play all their home games at Irvine Sports Club Marress, enjoyed a fantastic ending to what has been a brilliant campaign by holding their awards evening.

And players turned out in good numbers for the annual event, which was recognition of the efforts of a talented bunch of girls.

Megan presented the girls with their team trophies and also handed out the individual awards.

The U13s Blues Manager's Player of the Year winner was Josslyn Fletcher, while the accolade of Player's Player of the Year was scooped by Abigail Smith.

The U13s Whites Manager's Player of the Year was Morgan Zalesny, while Player's Player of the Year award winner was Caitlin Welsh.

Megan was presented with flowers by the club as a thanks for handing over the prizes.

Clark Drive Girls FC would like to thank everyone who throughout the season who made the football so enjoyable. Throughout the campaign they took part in a host of tournaments and festivals which gave them an opportunity to showcase their skills.

They look forward to a break for the winter and will resume activities again next spring.
