CLARK Drive Girls U7s and U9s took part in the first of this season's scheduled fun fours and super fives days and they did brilliantly. It was also great to have Caitlin Gilmour,Carmen Russell and Lauren Conner make their debuts for the U7s and scoring plenty of goals and making some great passes .We would also like to thank Glenburn Girls for making it such a great day for the U7s as we played three 15-minute game against them.

THE U11s team started their weekend of football off by playing Tass Thistle on a miserable Saturday morning.

The weather was horrible and with some real testing conditions for the girls to play football in the girls weren’t on their best form, they struggled slightly with their pace and passing, a lot of which was caused by the windy conditions, None the less they still managed put in an accountable performance winning the game in the end.

Man-of-the-match went to Kaitlyn, who played brilliantly in goals and pulled out some amazing saves.

Thanks go to Eva and Laila stepping up from the 9s the help out and Laila scoring her first goal in U11. Well done to players from the coaches.

Our team for today was Amy (C), Kendyl, Bayley, Kaitlyn, Olivia H, Jessica, Sophie, Lola, Laila, Eva.

Goals came from Bayley, Kendyl, Jessica and Laila.

Sunday morning saw the U11s play against Dean Thistle. Conditions were a whole lot different, the sun was shining and so were the girls. The quality of passing and the movement off the ball was simply brilliant. They worked superbly together and dominated the game from start to finish, keeping a clean sheet throughout the game. It was a joy for the coaches and parents to see. P

Man-of-the-match was Charley, who played fantastically from start to finish.
