A SCOTLAND side, bossed by former Kilwinning Rangers manager Alan McTurk are on track for the knockout stages of the Seniors World Cup.
They lost the opening game on Monday 2-1 to a very strong England team but won the second game 3-0 against New Zealand.
Former Kilwinning Rangers midfielder Jim Duffy was on target in the New Zealand games and his former Abbey Park team-mate Mark Cameron is also in the squad.
They play Taiwan in their next match and need a draw to qualify.
McTurk is happy with how things are going.
He said: "We were unlucky against a very strong England team with several ex Premiership and Championship players. It was a great win against New Zealand who said this was their strongest squad ever at the tournament."
