Stoneyburn 3 Kilwinning Rangers 5
FREE-scoring Buffs blasted five goals on the road to power into the third round of the Scottish Junior Cup.
After a dream start the careless visitors squandered their advantage, conceding three quick fire goals but stormed back in the second half to seal victory.
In just two minutes a Ben Lewis shot was parried by the home keeper but the alert Tommy Sloan Jnr pounced to net the rebound from close range. Two minutes later Buffs doubled their advantage when Mark Ferris evaded his marker to head home a Scott Houston corner-kick.
On 20 minutes Sean Callaghan smashed home a 25 yard rocket to reduce the deficit. As half time approached Barry Pritchard pulled Stoneyburn level after dribbling past goalkeeper Fraser Stewart.
The hosts grabbed the lead at the start of the second half but a double from Scott Houston and a second for Lewis sealed a remarkable victory for the visitors.
