Meadow's six appeal

SWEEPER Kevin MacDonald and central midfielder David McGeown are both on a personal mission to lift the Emirates Scottish Junior Cup with IRVINE MEADOW after near misses in the game's blue riband competition.

MacDonald, who joins from Kirkintilloch Rob Roy said: "I was in the Rob Roy team which lost over two legs to - eventual winners - Auchinleck Talbot two years ago and that was a big disappointment for me.

"But hopefully I can maybe go a stage further with Irvine Meadow."
